This position reports to

Real Estate Country Manager, ABB Switzerland

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be a key member of the Real Estate function in Switzerland who works with the Real Estate Managers in improving the efficiency, performance, and cost-effective service delivery by the function, by analyzing, proposing, supporting in the implementation of the plan of actions. Also, recommends changes to system functionality and supports the systems implementation/upgrade in their area of functional responsibility..The work model for the role is: #hybridYou will be mainly accountable for:•Overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for the real estate portfolio. Ensuring compliance with US-GAAP and ABB governance, managing Capex and Opex, and handling audit processes.•Conducting financial analyses to improve building performance, cost efficiency, and sustainability. Monitoring and controlling real estate investments, development projects, and IFM, ensuring continuous improvement and savings.•Serving as the interface with local business units, managing corporate finance team interactions, and ensuring transparent and reliable financial data. Developing skills through training and maintaining up-to-date property databases and records.•Supporting annual planning, strategic initiatives, and sustainability goals. Staying updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices, and recommending improvements to processes, policies, and system functionalities.

Qualifications for the role

  • At least 8 years of experience in corporate real estate sector,
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administrator and/or similar,
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial, proactive, customer service-based mindset with the ability to work independently in a demanding and dynamic environment, as well as high level of teamwork skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to establish effective relationship with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Fluency in English and German language.
  • Work permit valid in Switzerland (EU/EFTA)
